Fog lights ON with high beams?

Is it possible to wire the fog lights to stay on with the high beams?

I played around with the FR FOG relay and it seems the circuit for the lights being on gets disabled somewhere else when the high beams are on.

I don't remember seeing a thread on the subject (and the search wasn't fruitful) so if there is, please let me know! Better yet, if you have gotten it to work, what did you do?

2008 (if it matters) 4Runner here.

I'm not sure if it is possible to over-ride the factory set up for this. Sorry I can't be of much help in that dept.

I know the reason most manufacturers make their vehicles like this is because in many states it is actually illegal to drive on the roadway with more than 4 driving lights (forward facing white lights on the front) illuminated at one time. When the high beams are engaged, the truck shuts off the fogs to illuminate the highs along with the lows.

I figure you already know this, but perhaps there are some that don't.

theres a fog light mod, i did it, have all beams on at all time. theres a guy who started this, i think u can search on yahoo and look for toprunners or something, but he is a member here, its J A i think.

Thank you everyone for the links! Honestly, I did search but only came up with 2-3 messages using fog lights and driving lights!

And from the messages, if you do the Pin #2 & the C12 to ground setup, you can get HI + LO + FOG!

This is great for avoiding & seeing deer in the Sierra Nevadas!
