Fog Lights Quit Working With New Bulbs

Many months ago one of the bulbs burned out in my '02 4Runner fog lights. About a week ago I finally got a new set of bulbs from Burtman, the Piaa Super Star foglight bulbs, and a matching set of head light bulbs as well. All worked well for about a week but today the fogs didn't turn on at all. I just noticed it this evening and it was too dark to further asses the situation, but any ideas what could be wrong?

Are the Super Stars more powerful, perhaps take more power, and simply blew the fuse? Could it be the combination of Super Stars in both the head lights and the fogs that draws too much power? Maybe it's just the switch? Since they don't turn on at all I'm assuming it's electrical in some way. I'm just a little ticked cause it all worked so well for only a week

Let me know if you figure anything out. I keep replacing my Hella Yellow Stars in my Hella DE's too often it seems. I'm not having much luck with Hella :ybrick:

So it's just a blown fuse that's at fault here. I was advised to put a 20 or a 25 amp fuse with the Super Stars instead of the 15amp that was currently in there.

x2 if your blowing fuses, the fuse is there for a reason, to keep from starting elec. fires!!! you run a to big of fuse with too small of a wire your going to burn,melt, or just plain kamikaze your ride. your talking 10 amps more than what was there before, not to say i haven't done this before and it worked fine but it always worried me in the back of my mind.

Off topic but I thought the same thing was happening with my silverstar fogs and ended up contacting the company. Sylvania said that those higher performance lights have a shorter life span than the regular bulbs. I think mine were rated for 100 hours which didn't take long with all the night driving I was doing. Now I only run the fogs in the rain, or fog (holy sh*t,really?).

I put in a 20amp today (5amp higher then recommended) and it blows the instant I turn on the fogs. I did it just now at night and you can actually see the tiniest light as the fuse blows.

I'm not sure what to do next. Before I got to the fuse I bench tested both the relay and the switch and they seem to work fine. The problem must be somewhere else.
