Fogs a tad corroded

Guess one of the seals failed over the last two years in one of my fogs and got a bit corroded and I was wondering if there was something you can clean them up with. As for sealing I'm going to use some form-a-gasket stuff so hopefully that keeps 'em water tight in the future.

You could try the boiling water and baking soda method. Thats what I use with battery corrosion. Then I give it a scrub with a toothbrush.

Hey Ron I have one OEM fog you can have,I had intended to do factory fogs but ended up going aftermarket.Just been sitting in the garage doing nothing and in good shape other than a little rust on the adjuster screw.Works fine last time it was checked.
Just has the smaller bracket with it and I think it is a driver side since it has an 'L' stamped on it.Yours free if you want it let me know.

1998 Fogs Parts

The same thing happened on my 1998... Actually the glass broke on on of the fogs and then I took the other one off and found that the seal broke and the reflective coating had almost completely deteriorated.

Does anyone have a set of 1998 fogs that they would be willing to part with?

This will continue to happen due to the spray that comes off of the tires. I fabbed up some splash guards and connected them to the fog light. Even when it pours now, my fog lights remain very dry and they do not even fog up anymore. I will try and get some pics up later.
