Folding seat button broken

got one from the dealer for $8cad. i just dropped it in the hole and it screwed right on. for the really small parts like this i find the dealer has the best prices, no shipping costs and stuff arrives quickly. sticking my finger in to press the metal rod was annoying so fixing this was worth it for sure.

I just bought a 2008 Sport Edition and one of these are missing and the other one is loose and won't thread on properly.

So what is the actual name and part number for these buttons?

Where did you all get them from?

Oh nvm, I found what I was looking for.

FYI, if anyone is looking to buy a new one part # is 72661-35010-B1.

I was searching for knob as part description but it is a button.

another option to the Toyota piece

I was able to thread a 'somewhat' large/long drywall molly onto the rod, instead of buying the OEM button through Toyota.

Seems to work fine, and the bulbous shaped end of the molly fits the need to no longer jam my finger against the threaded rod to free up the seatback.

Just an alternative for those trying to think outside the box....

I stuck a flat head screw driver in-between plastic trim and seat cushion holding the metal rod in the center. Took a few tries but I got it to screw back on..
