I posted a few days ago asking for advice on an aussie 2.8L diesel t4r. I'm glad to say I found the problem and haves now fixed it. Thought this may help some one one day worth a similar issue on a different engine.
After stripping everything down for the 3rd time I found the issue to be a completely stuffed harmonic balance where the pulley had completely separated from the balancer. Noting they are fused together with rubber its not a good thing so 250 dollars later squeak is gone and engine no longer has overheating problems at high load.
