I'm seriously considering parting out the Minnow in exchange for an early to mid 90's 4cyl pickup. If I did, I would get 33's, a 2" lift and locker (using the 4.56 pumpkins from the Minnow). The Minnow is freaking awesome, but..... Any thoughts?

Don't see a reason for parting out a PERFECTLY ABLE OFF ROAD BEAST unless your needing a ride that has a truck bed or a more fuel efficient ride to do the same purpose.

If you were actually getting a pickup. I'd get a clean 1st gen and swap the efi stuff on it. Easy conversion, and you'd have a factory solid axle. Not to mention they look badass with bobbed beds. Just my opinion. :bigok:
Somedays I wish I would have kept my 1st gen around. It was pretty clean.

Step One on a decision like this...WAIT. Then, wait some more. Think hard about how you'll feel once you no longer have your beast in the driveway, the truck you built from a stocker into a rig many envy. I'm not saying don't sell it, as I have no idea how much you want the other vehicle--just saying not to rush into it until you've thought it over a LOT. Once you get rid of it, it's not coming back.

Why? Everything is the same as the minnow besides the body and the rear suspension. What you should do!, though is swap a pickup body on to the minnow. Have a pickup with a rear 4 link. Haha. :lookout:

no. having both a truck, and a runner, I prefer the runner for wheeling.

which I why I just robbed the spooled 3rd out of the front of the truck, and stuck it in the rear of the 85 runner.

To fill in the rest, I have had a series of financial disasters as of late and the Minnow has been close to the chopping block several times. If all goes right from here, I will keep the Minnow AND get a little pick up for a daily driver instead of this beast of a Durango I drive every day.

if you were talking about a 1st gen truck? no, same answer. for a 1st gen runner, it would be yes.

Finish the SAS on the Minnow, I'll go to Colorado School of Mines in the fall and we'll wheel hard. Now for once stick to the plan.
