For daily drivers who've gone through a set of Falken Wildpeaks

Hey everyone. How many miles did you end up getting out of your A/T3Ws? The last Falkens I owned were the Rocky Mountains which gave me about 54K before they needed changing.

I have been considering the Wildpeaks for an upcoming purchase but my General Grabber AT2's have not only given me 80K so far, they still have tread left! I am about to make the purchase within the next month regardless as I'm moving cross country and rather have some new shoes to do it. Daily driving 4th Gen Sport. I don't go hard that often. She's a weekend mild-mid range off-roader.

I have a set on my ofp but only have driven them for a 1k miles a little louder then the oe tires but not by much. great in the rain and lite trail. but on my Jeep gc they are louder but are great drove on them about 5kmiles so far they still look brand new almost no wear in look or feel great tire and now standard on the Jeep gladiator

My father has a Chevy truck with Falken Wildpeak AT3/W's at 270/70/r18. The road noise is low to moderate, and look pretty darn cool to boot. They work great offroad, and I took his truck to a deeper sandy area and on a few steep mountain trails without airing down from the factory recommended 45 PSI(!) After 65k miles, the tires finally crapped out, but these were LT rated tires with steel radial belts, so they wore a bit harder. MPG only dropped about 1 MPG, 2 if you are a serious leadfoot in city. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly approve the Wildpeaks.

Naturally, what I just compared them on is not a 4Runner, but if a 15 year old Silverado can deal, they're worthy.

That's exactly what I was looking for: an answer that provided clarity on the longevity. I know the Wildpeaks have only been out since 2015 I believe? But surely there have been people running through an entire set by now.

Yeah, I mean, if you're burning offroad hardcore, and you really are using a tire, they're gonna go fast. They're comparable to the BFG KO2s and the Toyo Open Country R/T tires, in terms of actual longevity.

32,000 Miles on this set of LT265/70r17s. Rotate every 5,000mi, wearing perfectly, no balance issues.

Silverton/Telluride/Ouray twice, Death Valley, Alabama Hills, Grand Canyon North Rim, countless camping trips and short trails around Phoenix. These things are bomber.

Hands down the best All-Terrain tire I have ever owned. The last 5 sets of tires I owned we're either KO or KO2s... never going back, not even if they were the same price.

Here's mine with the 265/70/17. I have about a 3" lift all around. I had to push the front fender liner forward a bit, but nothing drastic.

I have a 2.5-3" Dobinsons Lift. Stock size wheels and tires. Really on the fence about going up a size, the truck is so capable as-is and I ruined my last truck by chasing big tires haha

Well not necessarily running the tires off-road hardcore, but anyone who uses their 4Runner as a daily and runs even your average milage should be close to a replacement if they hadn't already, but I haven't seen many reviews from those at the 50+mark (or even over 30K), where wear should be of some physical determination. Four years at an average of 15K a year would have passed the tread life warranty of 55K miles since the release date, but I can't find much info from anyone on how many miles they've gotten out of them. IF they're still rolling on them 60K plus miles by now, I'd love to hear about it! Especially since my Generals have lasted that long.

Is the lift the same as your description in the bottom? I have the same setup but it only provided me 2 inches all around. Did you add coil spacers and perch up the 5100's? I have mine set at zero and have the same coils but no spacers. Let me know because I wanted to get the 265/70R17's, but if you had rubbing issues at 3 inches then I will most certainly have them with 2 at the same size.

Will be interested to see the responses. I've put about 25K miles since mid-October 2018 on mine they look good. This forum suggested these tires to me and I can say that I'm more than pleased with them having now driven them in every season. Only thing I'd want to do is take off-road ha...

I'm at about 20,000 miles on my P265/70R17 AT3/W's. There's absolutely no way these will get to 30K, they are wearing very fast. They're very loud now too. Won't be buying them again.

WOW, really? And what kind of driving do you do on them? Is this a daily rig on mostly streets? Can you provide any more info?

It's my daily driver, I do about 30 miles a day. Pittsburgh roads are very windy and hilly. I think constant curves help accelerate wear. I consider myself a defensive driver, but know when to be aggresive if you know what I mean. Rarely seeing non-sealed roads these days unfortunately. I know, for sensible reasons, I should probably choose a more road oriented tire, but I enjoy the offroad looks of all terrains and still convince myself that I'll be hitting some trails soon, haha.

I'm at 20 K on my wildpeaks,, love these tires. rotate at every 5k with no signs of wear or balance issues. minimum weighs needed. great in rain, snow, sand and dirt. would defiantly buy again. I'm running stock size, slightly louder then the factory crap tires it came with . no mpg loss.

I put over 50,000 miles on a set of 265/70R17E with a few thousand miles of offroading on them. Sold them for $400 with over half the tread still left on them & bought another set just bigger.

Running them in 285/75/17 and use them heavily offroad. These tires are a good all around performer, and I expect they treat me well
