I'm thinking about getting Kenwood navigation system for my truck. My question is, is there anyway you can watch movie and have my navi on at the same time? I want to know if I can set a destination and then pop in a movie. I'm guessing it's some how possible because kenwood have 2 separate unit for navi and dvd. Kenwood website mentions that you can pop in a cd and have navi going at the sametime, but does not mention dvd. Maybe while watching movie, the movie will automatically pause and the voice activation system for navi will say make a left or right and stuff like that. possible or not? thanx

I'm not sure about the Kenwood, but with my Eclipse navi, there are only 2 slots, 1 for CD and 1 for DVD. If you want to use the navi, you need to have the nav DVD in the dvd slot. So with the Eclipse, you can't watch a movie and have nav at the same time. If the kenwood has 2 separate DVD slots, then you might be able to.

Does the eclipse lighting match the lighting for the rest of the 4runner? I mean the buttons on the head unit....

I don't have the illumination wire hooked up yet, so I haven't seen the buttons lit up. I've read that they're green though.

Acutally if you buy the Eclipse AVN5495 which has a built in 30gb hard drive and 10gb is used for Navi and it has a seperate DVD slot.
