I removed the running boards from my '03 4Runner Limited in order to install some nerf bars. I just listed the running boards on ebay, no reserve. Please check it out if you're interested.

I guess I'm hoping to get a hundred bucks or so for them .... I listed the ebay auction at 1 cent hoping to get a decent amount of interest in them. Check it out and bid what you think is a fair price.

good move taking them off. you'll probably benefit from better acceleration and gas milage from the missed weight!

Actually.. you'd be surprised at how very little they weigh. There isn't much to them really. Haha.. but any weight benefits have been already negated. I replaced the stock running boards with some steel nerf bars from Stubbs Welding. They VERY TOUGH and installed so that I retain all my ground clearance. I take my 4runner offroad a lot so I had to remove the running boards before I wrecked 'em.
