For those with Wheel Spacers!

Alright so I know for sure that I will be investing in some wheel spacers in the near future, and I have just a few concerns/questions.
First off, I don't want to pay $200 for some WS and not have a noticeable difference from the stock stance. But on the other hand I sure don't want my wheels sticking so far out it looks ridiculous.

So for those that have WS with STOCK rims can I see some pics? Maybe some side profiles, and shots of the new stance?
I'm hoping I can get an idea of how 1.25" spacers look. And 1.5" spacers look...Or just some personal input, is 1.5" spacing too far?

Recently put 1.25" spidertrax on after lifting the front end and putting on larger BFGs. Tires are flush with top of fender, Stick out a little at bottom where fenders round inwards (near running boards)

Perfect! That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks jetboy. I think that looks just right, not too far out, but noticeable.
 
These are spidertrax w/ stock rims, 275/65R18 STTs, and an OME lift. I had them on for around 70k+ miles with no issues. I just confirmed they were tight each time I took it in for a rotation.

if you're just going to put spacers on with a stock tire/suspension setup, then my advice is don't bother until you go full boat.

your truck will look nothing like promed's or the other guy's 4r here. they both spent money lifting and putting on bigger, more aggressive rubber on there.

lifting with spacers on stock suspension/tires/wheels will be like a totally half arse attempt at... what? look marginally different?

go big or stay home is my motto.

spidertrax are great quality.
 
I have to disagree....I have spacers on my stock rims/tire and it totally made my truck look better. If you want to do a cheap easy mod that is as simple as changing a tire why not...I'm putting a leveling kit on in the next week or so but i have had my spacers on for about 6 months and could not be happier with the look.

I put 1.25 Spidertraxx on my 08 Limited with stock wheels/tires. I didn't see the point in replacing brand new tires at the time. It makes a big difference in the stance. Stock tires/wheels sit flush with the flares. I have since added a leveling kit to improve the stance more. In all, I think I've spent ~$250 and about 4.5 hours of time and I love the stance. Do what you can when you can.
 
For those of you who put on the spacers what driving characteristics have you noticed...does your T4R feel different to drive?

my point isn't that it doesn't look better. it does. every so slightly. tiny bit.

no one except you will be able to tell that you have these neat spacers. it's not going to look anything close to what the two guys above posted with their non-factory tires, oem wheels, lift, and spacers.

and when you do put bigger/more aggressive tires on it, you'll be like... why the heck didn't i do this sooner? :D it's kind of like if you don't know, you don't know.

hey gator, you have a lift. this guy's just going for spacers. it won't look like yours obviously.

Im not sure why your tude is the way it is.. If you will start from the beginning, this guy has a Daystar 2.5/1.5 lift with 255/75/17 tires. When he mentioned stock stance, I think he is meaning stock overall width of stance. Dont bust his balls if you didnt read the original statements.. :whipping2 :peace:

I have the same vehicle with stock tires. Did you have any rubbing issue like described in J.A.'s article?

What is the torque spec for putting on the spacers?
