Ok, I am very new to this forum but am enjoying much more than any other i have been on. However, there is something that i have been wondering.

I see alot of T4R that look flat out amazing, and are all pretty much SE 4x4 (which a part of me whishes i bought) however im curioes what would you guys say about someone that uses the T4R more as a dialy drive road car?

I really want to mod her up being i love haveing my car personalized! That and i have a nautical blue (think thats teh dark blue) and haveing a hard time thinking of a color skem to go with.

I am very thankfull in any and all advice/ideas to do and seeing the AMAZING T4R you guys have produced.

Post a pic or two, that'd help:D Get it from the front and from the side.


What do you want? A street theme or a pre-runner (desert runner) look? Do you like blacked out or a bit of aluminum and chrome? To me, with the dark blue, a delicate balance of blacked out with a few touches of aluminum and/or chrome would look great.

Her great a$$ also, i want to take that damn Dealership tag off under the TOYOTA!!!! Think it has messed up my paint?

Nice 4runner. I really like that color.

Have you thought about taking the running boards off?

You can have more than one picture per post.
 
NIce 4runner... you can do a lot to it...just decide what style you want.....rough style..or smooth...sporty or elegant... or a balance in between... it all depends...

In my case i like the combination of both...so im combining chrome with black...and soon i'm getting black 20"s shoes.... or may paint my stock rims black with chrome lip until I can get the 20"s...

The running boards I think are going to stay, however im looking at some of yalls T4Rs and they look really good with out them as well! So ill will keep thinking about that.

I do love the dark blue, one of the reasons i bought it being my fav color. However now im haveing a tuff time deciding vs things like going chrom or black, to lift or not to lift. Being that she will be on the road most of the time.

However, i do think i want to lift the front some, something looks off with it sitting that low in the front. Maybe its just me.

I knot this week I should have thoes weather trims on the windows, shop down here puts them on for free after you order them and if they break them they will buy new ones free of charge. Think ill get the weathertech.
 
Are you considering wheels? If so black with aluminum accect would look great IMHO. A cheap but cool alternative might be to do as hemitruck did, http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52303

A little cheaper mod that would look nice considering the color-matched door handles would be to debadge the doors.

McElveen sticker has to go...

I'd tint the front windows. Some people like to go crazy with that but even the best matching legal tint would help a lot IMHO:D

Yes McElveen tag is going, Im trying to decide the best way to take it off an not mess the paint up under neath, i have heard things like hairblow dryer and fishing line followed up with rubbing alchole.

Im going to fiddle with PAINT and see what the sides look like without running boards and debagged.

I do like the V8 badge change ill look into that 4 sure, Also im tyring to find a place to get 06 tailights, none of the auto bodies can get them yet, only 05 lights.

I am a big fan of black/chrome wheels and i like that link you showed me well done on his part.

lets see if this makes since. I like the front veiw of a truck being very aggresive and the sides being sleek! So im thinking even though i wont be climbing a cliff side, i want a chrome skid blate and MAYBE a bull guard. I still think the front wheels look odd and i dont know if its cuzz i think the front needs a slite lift.

and guys thanks for the props on the T4R and even more thanks for the ideas, love this stuff and cant wait to get started.
