forbidden ?

I just noticed this on the "What did you do with your 4Runner today" in the 4th Gen forum, it does it on any "page" above 100 and there's at least 1005 pages, a lot of lost content!!
From the forbidden notice it appears to be a "permission" issue!!
What's seems strange is that I only clicked on it because there was a new reply by [MENTION=667661]Jeebus[/MENTION], so hopefully he can reply here as to how he was able to access that topic to reply??

Maybe it's just that everyone everywhere has done everything possible to their 4th Gen and there's nothing left to do ?

It's a server-side error caused by a misconfiguration. This site only exists to pump out as many ads as possible and may die without warning. JMHO.
Edit - I take it back. We do still have a moderator, and there is an announcement about the issue on the 5th Gen forum. We are still at the mercy of the overlord, however......

As some have noticed some longtime threads throughout this site are now displaying Forbidden access . Threads such as What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?! and 5th Gen For Sale/Wanted Thread and many others. Mostly old threads with many pages and thousands of posts. Hopefully the Admin is in the process of upgrading and problem may be gone soon. IDK.
Please be patient and stand by. "

Check in once a month but quit caring about posting on here with how poorly maintained this website is anymore. Too bad, as this forum has a ton of good info. This site is solely utilized anymore for its ad revenue until it inevitably dies. We went through this a couple years ago when the website wouldn't even load before the the clunky "bot check" was put in place. Over the last few months, I've noticed the URL t4r.org no longer works unless you spell out the entire forum name.
Anymore else been here long enough to remember the iconic t4r.org stickers that people bought to show you were in the know?
My guess, is in the next couple years, months, who knows this forum will ultimately die. Shame as many forums like ih8mud are still updated and highly active. Seems like its in the owners best interest to keep this forum active for there own revenue but I digress. I'd recommend saving/downloading any helpful info before its ultimately lost.
Major props to [MENTION=1857]fourwd1[/MENTION] as he is the last active mod I know and really the only person who keeps this site going to my knowledge.
Honestly, I would be interested in buying the site from [MENTION=5653]admin[/MENTION]. However, if its anything like past experience it will take hundreds people tagging [MENTION=5653]admin[/MENTION] before they notice and do anything about it with a bandaid fix. That is, if they care enough anymore.
