FORD Lunch Hours

Talk about being caught red handed, I wonder how many transmissions or what ever they build wind up failing because they are all alkyed up? I wonder how many GM employees are doing the same thing?

Shocking!! And to think, they are using our hard-earned money to pay for these alcoholics to build our cars! :(

Thai --you should see Toledo OH plant

where the Jeeps are built, exact same type of thing. Another reason I am not fond of domestics.

This kind of thing does not even shock me anymore, sad to say.

Hopefully these guys have banked a whole lot of dough working for their outrageous hourly rate. I sense unemployment pending for a lot of US autoworkers and related industries.

(Thai I did try to look under a Jeep one day at a dealership but a salesman kicked me off the lot when I flat out told him I would never buy a new one)

Remember those stories about how auto workers would intentionally leave a loose washer inside a door panel to drive the new owners nutty looking for it? These are their sons.....

This is a classic example of having "Liquid Lunch". And let us not forget that most of them drove home/work after their liquid lunch. DUI anyone?:awais:

You're killing me, Ron!! You are killing my undying enthusiasm for Jeep Wranglers!! :( Wow...what a major disappointment.

Ron, next time, tell the salesman your opinion AFTER looking underneath the Jeep!! :D

They must be drinking over at GMC as well . My buddy's Dad just bought a brand new truck and at the 400 mile mark the transfer case is shot !!!
They wanted to put in a rebuilt !!! LMAO

You come to work every day, do what you know is the right thing(even when nobody is looking) your union won't know you from Adam.Got ''issues'', maybe caught drinking or sleeping on the job, halfassing your work.......you're on a first name basis with union officials. I've been in the UAW for 20 years,is it ALL of them?, absolutely not.
