Forestdale Road off Hwy 88 to Lost Lakes/Upper Blue Lake, anyone done it?

After our last excursion, looking to go out again and do some wheeling + fishing. I was looking to hike off Hwy 88 at the top of the pass (one of my favorite areas of California), taking the PCT south but then saw there's a road called Forestdale Road that also follows the PCT to several lakes, including Lost Lakes and Upper Blue Lake.

Has anyone done this road/trail? I didn't find a ton of info on it, just some random video about some dude looking for bigfoot tracks. Not really my thing.

It's a great 4 wheeling road, not too hard in the beginning, plus it provides some amazing views. I took that road starting from Red Lake all the way to Lower Blue Lake, the trail continues but becomes much harder and eventually there is a water crossing that seems too high to pass.

I did fish for some trout at lower blue lake, I'd bring some bug spray btw, mosquitos will eat you alive even during the day.

Another Nor Cal road question off 80/20/Bowman Road

In a related vein, any knowledge of a road that's called English Mtn. Road on some maps.

It's east of Bowman Lake and south of Jackson Meadows reservoir.
