...is how long it takes to load a page on this site sometimes. I feel like I'm using Explorer 1.0 on a dial-up modem in 1995. What's up with that or is it just me? It looses the connection multiple times a day and I have no problems with any of the other forums I'm on. Just a hokey server or what?

well. old P4M 1.8/1 GB MB. probably 6-7 GB modem. no problems this evening.

I've found this forum works fine most of the time but once in a while, yeah she gets glitchy. Three or four minutes to load a page. Doesn't do it all that often though but its a pain when it does.

insomniac theatre again... this forum she runs like a scalded dog at 3 or 4 am.

But yeah during peak daylight hours she is sketchy.

I imagine a lot of guests come on to view stuff for help, slowing it down during the day. If I search the internet for something I get either here or yotatech as my search results, so it's better to come straight here and ask.

Took me 5 minutes to load this thread just so I can b!tch about how slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow this site is now!
"Website found. Waiting for reply..." is what my explorer says about 50% of the time for at least 1-2 minutes. Sometimes it just gives up and times out after 5 minutes or so. It's getting worse.... work or home computer, it doesn't matter. TTORA, Yotatech, Ih8mud, Pirate, UltimateYota, even the new 3rdgens.com are all much faster and glitch free. It really sucks when I spend time replying to a thread and I loose my whole response because of a timed-out session and have to reload and re-type it the whole thing again. I really like this site otherwise I wouldn't even say anything, but I'm getting over it - fast.

I agree with you now. I would say 60% of the time the pages are very slow to load.

Mine is always slow and i'm on a steady connection. Half of the time a page will time out long before it loads.

Glad i'm not the only one, but not glad that the site is broken. :ybrick:

Took me over 25 attemps over 2 and a half hours just checking back here and there to pull this thread up. SOMETHING IS BROKEN! Either that or your server is in some 3rd world country using an Apple IIE hooked up to a car battery. It's taken all the fun out of this site and I'm personally tired of loosing my replies and trying to go back to my User CP page and it won't refresh for hours so I loose all the bolded titles which is how to tell if someone new has responded. AND IT"S GETTING WORSE EVERYDAY!!

I'll give it a few more days of trying, but if it doesn't start acting like the other 100 billion sites on the web soon, I'm moving on. Sucks because this site is otherwise a very cool place!

somedays its fine, others are terrible, like today. i mostly use google chrome, so i thought id give IE a try, & for right now, it seems to work better for some reason, i hate to think id have to use IE just for this site.

For me, logging in takes a hell of a long time and sometimes it just won't, but after I log in everything seems to work fine.
