We've got a porter here at work who can't drive stick! He's 19 and has no idea how to drive one! What an embarrassment!

"They apparently couldn't start it,” Bean 51, is quoted as saying in a police report. “I had to tell him four different times to push in the clutch, because it's a standard transmission."

Perfect. No need to shoot anybody, just drive a manual. :lmao:

jwyshrek: way back when I had a 2001 Xterra 4X4 manual. It was awesome. Unfortunately, I got married and my wife had no clue how to drive a stick (insert joke here). I tried to teach her, but she was not interested (insert second joke here). I had to get rid of it and got a Chev Trailblazer instead (mistake), before moving on to the Runner.

Bet you miss it.

Me too. I almost got a Civic with a 6speed, but that meant wifey would have sole custody of my 4Runner. Screw that.

Anyway, forget not knowing how to drive a stick, forget the sec. system, etc etc.

Pretty sad how in South Africa car jacking is soo bad, that they have to resort to this. I love it!

That's awesome. All you gotta do now is wire it up to be activated by a remote or door sensor so when a thief tries to break in to the car, they get set on fire.
