Aren't psychiatrists non-combatants? I thought it had to do with his religion???

That's what investigators are drawing as a motive that he would be attacking his own people.

It's probably along the lines why Dr. Phil couldn't save his own marriage. IMO, it's easy to be the Monday quarterback. I'm not saying the gunman's actions are in anyway justified.

The news media is reporting nothing but speculation on motives and some outlets had even remarked on the tight lipped reaction received from the Army. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscientious_objector It's a tragedy but I consider the fact that the shooter lived to be very fortunate. Hopefully it will offer some form of closure for the victims.

So far they know only what witnesses have said and things that people said that he said after the fact. Like the FBI was watching for 6 months because of stuff he said online. First he was killed then he was alive. Some bekive he screamed something in Arabic. Some say that he hated the gov. It could be weeks before we will find out turly what happen and why.

Apparently there were many warning signs that were missed. Regardless, an extremely devastating story.
