Forum Advertisement Suggestion

I was waiting for a reply from the Admin from the other forum, but I am sick of waiting, and thought to run this by Gator, and Thai, and any thoughts from members here.

I have not been here lately for the simle fact I did everything I want to my SUV, and been spending more time on the Beretta Forum learning about my gun, tips for shooting, etc. Okay I am sure now you are wondering where I am going with this; just bear with me.

Let's be honest, there is a mentality that goes with many shooters, as well as many owners of SUV's and Trucks; that is that a lot of those that own a truck or a suv also tend to be into guns. Whether it's for protection, hunting, or just having fun at the range. NOW YOU CAN STOP RIGHT THERE ABOUT SAYING I AM NOT INTO GUNS!!! This is for the majority (small or large) that are.

However, I also notice there is a stigma about gun owners being all American so that tends to rule out SUV's; however the same stigma is placed on Texans, but hey look at Thai.

So to help build the members, advertisement is a good way to go. So I thought if Gator, Thai or both get in touch with the Admin for both forums below that I believe are run by the same person, you can advertise their forum(s), and they can do the same for you. Hey, you know never know; there might be some members that I have been BSing back and forth with about Beretta's and guns in general that are also 4 Runner owners.

I know a lot of my ideas have been shutdown in the past, but doesn't mean all are them are bad. So what do you think?

I am too into knives, but what I find is the correlation tends to be more with gun owners than anything else. Probably because you can have more fun with them; then if you are into throwing knives that is it's own discussion all together. I used to do that, but I really sucked and never improved.

Don't you mean "shot"down :D Sorry Iman I couldn't resist :p Seriously though it's a good idea IMO in fact I just added a "Miscellaneous Sites" section to this forum's LINKS page so I can add reciprocal links to other sites folks might be interested in. I'm not a google expert but from what I've read having tons of reciprocal links with other sites is one of the best ways to boost a site's google ranking. If you type in Toyota 4Runner into Yahoo we're ranked number 3 behind Toyota.com and Toyota/4Runner.com which I think is great. But when you type it into Google we're nowhere to be found :confused:

Iman I couldn't get the first link to work, and the second one I didn't notice a links section for them to put a reciprocal link in.

If folks know of another board interested in having their link on this site in exchange for a reciprocal link on the other site I would of course welcome those suggestions :)

Have you guys submitted this site to any search engines? I know there are sites out there that'll submit you to 50+ search engines for free by filling out one form...
