Admin, from what I have experienced over the last year or so, NEVER responds to PM's- even from the Mods.

I know this is all free, but the changes that have happened lately blow.

I noticed that the tagging doesn't work anymore.. sigh

The silver lining is that this helps with my addiction to the forum lol

This is getting incredibly annoying for a variety of reasons.

The tagging thing is the worst, it's like I'm yelling for help and no one can hear me. They just walk right by and don't look in my direction.

I pulled this off of another forum i visit.

I hope you are wrong about this. I'm as member of a local firearms forum as well and a member was able to track the recent buyouts of a huge amount of other firearms forums by VS. From what I understand, if that is the case, they have no intention of allowing the forum to thrive but instead litter it with irrelevant ads and pop ups to make a buck or two and move onto the next. That would be really sad to see t4r.org to go that direction...

Looks like the tagging feature is gone too.

I am currently getting notifications for PM's via Email, as well as topic replies so those features are still valid.

The @ tagging feature however is NOT working

Is it just me or has there been a change to the forum layout?
I no longer have Forums as a link option at the top with a drop down to select a specific forum. Also I am not receiving notifications of post quotes and replies.

Yeah, something changed. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I have notice that there is no longer a "like" button for people's posts. Some pictures in people's posts did not seem to want to load. I opened another browser and was able to see them. Chrome = trouble with pic, Safari = I could see pic, (still no like button though).

Ditto above. Also the entire right margin info menus are gone, sponsors, recent threads, etc.

This looks like an earlier version of the VBulletin software and forum.
There is nothing in the mod section from @admin saying anything about maintenance or anything so I have no idea.

wth did the quick jump forum link go! i loved being able to move about the forum so quickly.

I would imagine that all the sponsors are not too keen on having their links gone down the right side. That's where I click to go shopping!

Not happy that the forum jump on the menu above isn't there anymore. It also doesn't show notifications if you've been quoted or mentioned either.

Sure hope that things go back to the way they were soon. Or that at least there will be answers for what's going on. Kind of reminds me of a book I read years ago "who moved my cheese?" lol

If I'm losing the like button, can I get a DISLIKE one to replace it.

Quick jump was an AWESOME feature. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't like it.

The like feature was meh. I could go either way with it.

I WOULD like to see a buyer/seller feedback section more advanced than what we have now.

@ChildrenOfBodom Let us know what the story is (also, I am just testing to make sure the tag feature is still valid)

The tag feature is not working. I too have sent an email to admin. I am confident this is the software version used prior to the last change over a few years ago when we didn't have the "like" or "tag" or "forum jump" or many other features.

Everyone please be patient. Complaining does not help. We have to wait for admin as he is the only one with access to reset the software.

The changes have affected us up here in Canada, too

There used to be some sort of member reputation rating - seems to have changed somewhat.

Not only is the like button gone, but it seems that all of our previously given/received "likes" have vanished as well.

Try emailing instead of contacting the username.

I would like this if I could. I mostly miss the quick jump menu.

Why did the forum change, its not fun as before where we can like a person post and the shorcuts to the vendors are gone and was so much easier to go shopping from the right handside clicking on the vendor websites. Hope they bring those back.
