Well, the network dude has been out on vacation for several weeks or close to a month now.

I brought this up in the site section for this forum and got crickets. Someone made a change to the way this forum operates, and walked away.

It would be nice to see an admin acknowledge the issue and let us know that they are trying to fix it.

If you have the FREE membership, this happens from time to time. I have the fee-based VIP Membership, which guarantees an optimized, first-in-line portal at all times, but it's expensive.

It's called 'hang time".......................:thumb3:

All that is missing at this point is the mid 1990's dial up modem tones. It is like trying to load a page using 1G in an elevator. :smash:

Seriously. I think this forum is dying. I am not sure that anyone that is in a position to do anything seems to mind or care much at all. And even if it were to run better in a pay to play format, others that do not wish to pay will simply leave and take the lifeblood of the forum with them.

The activity level has dwindled down to a handful of people with iron clad patience. A lot of regulars with builds couldn't be bothered to sit around and wait for pages to load and have stop coming, and have said so.

While it is a little slow, I think there is a lot a traffic. I haven't been around too long so I don't know how it was years ago. I was a "mod" on another car site and that site slowly died due to FB and Instagram. Seems like it's easier for people to post on those apps but try looking for a post or "how to".

Love this place!!

Nah, I like whining. I'm entitled to a fast forum. :ranger:

I think the admin is modeling the site after me, it gets slower as the day goes on....
