Found a "cream puff " 98 Desert Dune..

I found an excellent condition 98 4Runner on CL..
The paint is in excellent condition. The interior is as near perfect as you can get in a truck 15 years old. 113K miles, TB and WP done at 90K. It has a small scratch on passenger side door. The PO took excellent care of the truck. He bought it in 2007 from his inlaws with 42K on it. Less than 7500 miles per year. It drives like new. Here are a few pics:

Awesome ride, I picked up one same color mint as well, thinkin desert dune was the old person's choice for colors....just a thought, good for low miles

Looks like mine when I bought it back in '03. I loved Desert Dune, it was a nice color and hardly ever looked dirty no matter how long between car washes.

It's not my favorite color by any means, but it doesn't show dirt. I have bought and sold at least 15 4Runner 3RD gen in the past three years and this one is by far in the best condition. The only quirk is the fuel light is on most of the time whether or not the tank is empty or full. I can live with that. I might just remove the bulb. The gauge is accurate.

Yep. Those will get painted this weekend. I learned the trick of using dish washing liquid to fill the darker parts, then paint the entire cap. After the paint dries you can rinse the paint and dish washing liquid away with warm water, leaving the other paint intact. I found this trick somewhere on T4R.

Nice find. Same color as mine. As others have said, Desert Dune hides dust and dirt well.
