I didnt realy care or want this option but had no choice, it was on the truck. But I finaly found a use and utilized it. The question is was it worth spending $200 on PIAA lights on top of a $600 option i didnt want? You tell me, how dose it look?

I think it looks good.....Im guessing the lights are mounted to the optional bumber piece? How solid is that mount? I thought that was plastic

Mine also came with one of though bumpers, what are they made of? I would think if they are plastic they would cause the lights to bounce all over while you were driving??

I like it. I saw Titanium driving down main street in Huntington Beach with the same setup. Except his/her setup had rectangular Hellas with those white covers. It looked dam good with their Yakima rack w/ fairing.

bar is made of plastic and filled with a foam, the kind that fake flowers get stuffed in, you know the kind you play with and press your fingers in.

It mounted well, dosnt bounce around, shakes a little in hard hits like pot holes, but over all im happy. I actualy have them pointing past the headlights so i only use it when needed otherwise i get high beamed

installation was a little tricky.

I removed the bar and drilled the holes about 2" deap.

from the back side of the bar, I cut two squares out with a dremel lined up with the wholes. this way i have access to the nuts to tighten them. I cut a square big enough to get needle nose vice grip in and grab the nut.

mounted the realy box next to the factory one under hte hood.

And got the part number switch from the other thread here

It looks good but you may smash you lights if you are not careful parking. I put mine on top of the bunper out of harms way.

no problem, i am one of those people who parks all the way in the back away from others. plus all you need is a little common sense not to cramp up on another car
