Found these Terra Grapplers. Is this a good deal?

I hope this isn't a problem I've started two threads about tires, but this is a followup to my previous thread about the unpopular AT20s. I found these Terra Grapplers, which I've read are amazing tires. I just seem to think there's some sort of catch! They seem pretty cheap for such a highly regarded tire. Can anyone shed some light?

There's also these ones a couple pages down...looks like the exact same tire for $193...whats the difference?

The difference is in the load rating. They are great tires, and Discount Tire Direct is a great company to deal with. Buy Buy Buy.

The more expensive ones are LTs, Light Truck tires. The others are P, Passenger tires. LTs use more material and are heavier and more expensive. Don't know how you are going to use them, but you probably want the Ps.

Yep,load rating and the fact they are P rated makes all the price diff. I have 265/75 on my 16" rim and mine cost $155 each for the D load rated verson and in my size they don't offer a P rated version.

Am I going to be OK with just the P rating? I do tow occasionally. The max. tounge weight is, what, 700lbs? Would the 4runner need the LT rating with that kind of tounge weight and towing capacity?

So you guys figure 265/70 17's will be the best fit? I'd like to go as big as possible without any modifications.

I'd stick with the Ps even if you tow sometimes especially since you're going with 265/70/17. LTs carry less load at the same psi as Ps but more load at max psi. 265/70/17 is a good size and the biggest you can go stock. The spare will fit.
