four cents worth

I agree about each person's own likes and dislikes. If the guy likes his tail-light guards, then that's okay.

All I wanted to know from out there is that if there was anyone else who DIDN'T like them... like me.

Also, there is a big "mod" market. It seems every company is making something for our 4RNR's. Just because a mod is out there doesn't mean it is safe, useful or looks good. We as a group are getting sucked up in the frenzy, and we should apply some common sense. Something new will come out every month...
I just don't want the 4th gen crowd buying everything under the sun and making their trucks look like something that belongs in Beverly Hills instead of dirt hills.

Amen

Infividualism...uniqueness...competition is good...diverse choices...personal tastes...etc.. It's all good.

Don't be too anal with other people's choices. :)

:soapbox:

Well, that is just part of being different. If you want to have a vanilla truck like all the other people, that is fine and dandy. Most of the people here wouldn't be here if they didn't love their trucks and enjoy talking about them, modding them and showing them off. For the most part people have been pretty respectful of everybody else's stuff. If you don't like something, you can just ignore it. If you can't be open minded about people's tastes, then this board probably isn't for you....

okay

It was my mistake to chime in on this guy's post to put my two cents in about tail-light guards. Sorry. It was not aimed at him personally, but you guys took it to be that way. I will remember that it the future. Please don't slam me about it! Hey, individualism and pride of ownership is something WE are all about. Lastly, I stand behind my opinion on over-modification for form and not function. Respect my opinion as I do yours. Again, sorry for the confusion.

Mp5, i respect your opinion as much as others...however, like you, i have an opinion of your opinion.

P.S.: you can post your response to the SAME topic on the SAME thread, instead of starting a new one.

Thanks.
