Fox 2.0 rear shock question

Anyone running Fox 2.0 rear shocks?

I'm currently looking at running OME 891 in the rear along with Fox 2.5 resi coilovers in the front. Ideally, I'd like to find a Fox 2.0 shock for the rear that has a reservoir that would fit the 4Runner mounts, but am only seeing a smooth body option that matches the 4Runner's mounting style.

Does anyone have experience with a resi rear shock that would work on a 4Runner? Or anyone have experience with welding adapter plates to mount up different shock options?

My instinct is to find a tacoma resi 2.0 9" shock from the Fox catalog and weld up some shock adapters unless I can find a bolt-in model.

Anyone been down this road before and have some insight?

I think Icon is the only company who makes rears specifically for our 4Runners. They kind of have a niche market on the rears. The fronts multiple company's make them. I'm not an expert so if I'm wrong please correct me. In about a week some vendors are running a 20% off sale on Icon. I'm going to pick up the front coilovers and rear remotes. Pricey but I hope it will be worth it.

I have a 2001 4Runner Limited . FOX does carry the 2.0 With Res. , however they only provide 2.5" of Lift . Whats weird is they have the 2.5 with Res for the Front that gives you 3" of Lift . This is what I kept coming across . So I contacted FOX , and after about a 2 month wait (is what it took) , they built my 2.0 With Res for my Rear , giving me 3" lift. So as is, my 4Runner has the 2.5's with the internal Res. and 2.0 on rear with external Res. giving me 3" lift all round . I've had the lift installed for a year, almost 15k miles of off roading and still ride like a dream .

Radflo makes a 2.0 & 2.5 resi & non-resi for the 4Runner ranging from $480 to $810 per pair.

Well, after combing through the Fox catalog for 2.0 resi rears that were affordable, I came up empty handed. Instead, I ordered a set of Tokico LC rears. These will work for now, until the next stage of the build which will include 17" wheels and superflex coils. But for right now, the OME 890 and Tokico setup will work great. Thanks for the suggestions.

FWIW, there are some great options in the Fox catalog, but all of them are pretty spendy.

For future reference you can always run an adapter eyelet like Toytec sells and then run any normal remote resi shock. If you can find valving specs from a company that makes a dedicated rear shock you can then get whatever shocks you run valved to match, most shock companies assemble the shocks to spec anyways or you could revalve yourself which will only take an hour or two.
