So I've been thinking about this a bit more since I've currently got a stock setup but a rack on the way. I think you might be able to get away with using a couple C bolts to mount it and letting the ends of the rack act as a backstop to prevent the tube from rotating once it's mounted.

Yeah, C bolts and plate, with nuts to lock it in place is likely the best mounting solution.

Also, I'm totally in if that wasn't clear earlier, lol.

The awning with the wall attachment is basically a tent is it not? or can water still get inside this thing when it rains from the side doors/trunk side of the auto?

It it's fully sealed I'm in for awning+wall.

While the exterior sides will be sealed, I think you'd probably still get water coming in from the sides that are against your truck. I'd think you can probably acheieve what you're looking for, but some additional fab work would be needed.

$180 is for the awning only (no walls or mosquito netting) picked up in the DC area. Shipping out to CO would be another $80 for the awning. Additional shipping would probably be incurred for the walls.

I imported 7 tents for our group off_road_dmv, two awnings and one of the same awning that you guys are trying to buy last year, nothing to be worry about it, make sure you have a good custom agent in Baltimore because it is a little bit of paperwork that needs to be done , but not imposible; However, as you are bringing more quantities of the product you might need pay taxes here that will increase your final cost.
