Steering Rack assembly 44250-35042 | Pickup ONLY???

I tried to order from Springhill Toyota Parts, usually my go to over other online parts since they're cheaper overall even compared to like McGeorge.

However they told me over the phone they don't ship this anymore, it's local pickup only.
"Hello, unfortunately the power steering rack that was ordered is unable to be shipped due to its high rate of returns due to damage"

So then I called around dealerships in Michigan and the price difference is INSANE....

Ended up ordering online from McGeorge toyota parts, crossing my fingers it will ship.

$615.34 with shipping and taxes

Will keep this one posted if it shipped.

Just curious if anyone else ran into this same issue.


Edit: McGeorge Toyota shipped today successfully and gave me tracking. That was fast! I see why you guys order from them a lot.
I used to as well, too bad Springhill Toyota didn't want to ship steering racks anymore.

They packed it well, double box, foam etc, can't complain. Quick and fast shipping too. Ordered 4/21, and it arrived 4/23.

Glad it worked out for you. I have found our Toyota dealers in Michigan to be quite useless (never any parts in stock and sold me incorrect parts) and expensive.
