If I were to lend any advice to anybody trying to import a group buy:

Keep it to one item only. The wall situation severely altered the ability to equally subdivide the orders for shipping purposes.

Determine a certain amount to order and cap it accordingly. You can inquire about the total costs upfront and won't have to worry about how varying order numbers will affect cost.

Most importantly: RECEIVE THE MONEY UPFRONT! If stick to the above factors you'll know the total costs and operate under the "money talks, bs walks" premise. The biggest downfall here was folks saying they were in and then flaking.


I hope I was able to be as upfront as possible with the whole situation, unfortunately things can take a wrong turn. Again, I'm sorry that it wasn't able to play out.

Would it be possible to get a quote for just the awning and remove the walls and netting from the equation and set the cap to 30 or 40? I myself am still interested in picking one of theses up because the price is too good to pass on and seems like others are as well. I know you've put a lot of work into this already and may be more work but thought I'd asked.

I agree, I can suck it up for no wall but still want at least the awning.
