Im from Montreal Canada, and i got a 2000 Toyota 4runner SR5 Manual, (V6 ofc). I didnt ahd to buy it but rather earn it from the hands of its previous owner... My dad. He bought the yota brand new back in the days and its now my reward for doing well in my studies, And its been about a year or so i have it and i finnaly can start putting money into it (after many lost in repairs... sadly not caused by me but by my dad)
A little bit of history, It currently has about 405 000 Kilometters, With the same original engine, trannie, sharft, and pretty much everything is still factory. (yep all the bulbs are factory minus the headlights and reverse) This yota has be cared for and looked after very extremely well and msot of its part like i said are still factory!
This is how it looked back in 2013 Prior to the accident (sorry for the filter, this used to be my facebook image and sadly coulnd find it without filter)
Before i could get it, my dad had a driver side collision with it, with a Toyota Camry, it did quite the damage to the doors and wheel but nothing we coulnd fix. obiously assurances wanted it totalled out... my dad refused and thats how i today could get it!
Poor Camry
Front left wheel got its link broken but atleast the 4wd shaft didnt got damaged at all
Running board is quite bend
This shots are taken during the repair summer of 2014 7 onths the poor runner didnt run at all, was being dragged by a tow truck to garages, so we finnaly could get money from the insurance and fix the broken wheel and fire it up, obiously our lift seupt contains the msot advanced technologies that inlude plywood and some old candle hehe
We got it up and running and back legal on the road, i lost the front bug catcher due to an idiot in a bmw cutting me off and i rear ended him and he had his kayak slide out of his SUV and into my hood which broke the buig catcher (Still in the process of finding one taht bolbs on and not use some 3M tape!)

The truck is stock lift.
By now i got myself a long list of mods I want to do and i started by the basics So my major problem is light on this truck i got no fog lights at all and running halogens. So after many rechearch here and there i decided on doing a retrofit with Mini H1 from TRS. Currently saving up the money to buy them, i bought a pair of headlights from the scrap yard where i will do my retrofit.
I also had an issue with my reverse lights being not bright to i went and buy a pair of LED at Super Bright Leds, and Oh my i am in love with my new reverse lights!
The bulb is oversize but will fit into the housing of the taillight, i had to squeeze it as the base was larger and a very tight fit here the stock bulb vs the LED one :
here is it being lit up :
here is one side only, it lits up superwell the back and side of the Area
Both light up its so bright my phone camera could not adjust itself haha
had to use the flash on this one but the area was still pretty well light up
I got also remplaced the Interior dome lights with Festons, And they light up the whole truck interior very easily.

And here is the one i used for the Feston: Festoon LED Light
So here are my upcomming rempalcement/upgrades and mods:
-HID Retrofit Using Mini H1's from morimoto
-Making my turn Signal on the front bumper become my new DRL's
-Changing out Marker lights and brake lights to LED's
-Changing Map Lights to LED's
-Getting Bliestein shocks
-Installing A Winch in the front (removable)
-Fog Lights
-Offroading LED lights
-Joying Android Radio with backup camera
-Tundra Brake upgrade probrably around the same time as the blistein shocks
-Weld new hooking points to re-install the running boards OR some other sort of steps or sliders... Not yet decided on that.
-Roof Rack for a more offroad looking one
-not decided if i keep the rear bumper stock or have a mooded one (its being eaten by rust at the moment.
i know im sort of an unusual mod and build threat, but i guinely like the look stock of the 4runner, if i had more money i would throw a supercharger on it but so far i dont have near the money to buy it.
Im not much into a rock climber type of look, as this is my daily driver, and being still a student and working with the SUV i gotta keep it a relative good MPG :c
