May I ask where the line is for stickers for you then? You used the above example of a stick figure family as well as to advertise for a compan as being lame and tasteless. Does a "baby on board" sticker also not have a place? (Keep in mind, those serve the purpose of informing first responders that there is an infant in a vehicle if there was a crash) therefore you'd feel saving the life of a child is "lame and tasteless"? 
Or what about the "caution: wide turns" on a big rig? Also used to inform.
It's my understanding that a sticker is a way to inform other stickered and non-stickered vehicles alike that maybe we give a shit about our cars so have some respect?

I wasn`t talking about purposeful stickers, sorry if I didn`t make it obvious.
Knowing that you have a wife and 4 kids, dog and 2 cats is lame.
One should draw that line for himself.
Showing that you conquered trails is OK even though I wouldn`t do it.
displaying Toytech stickers on 100%stock vehicle is still lame, despite that one has 4runner. only if sponsored by them.
Others don`t give an obese rodent rectum about your accomplishments, it`s not f#king doctor diploma, Nobel prize placard or purple heart.
Displaying yellow ribbons and such is a symbol for symbol minded.
At least they magnetic and can be removed without trace.
Yet anyone can display anything they want, I just reserve a right to have an opinion on the matter.
