Freewheel hubs

I was surprised to learn that my half-axles turn all the time - this is my first truck without free-wheel hubs. I gotta figure this really messes with the gas mileage. A friend suggested I convert, like, with a Warn kit. Possible? Has anybody here done it?

One or two people have done this, but it really doesn't make a noticeable difference to your mileage. Yes, the axles are turning but they are disconnected from the front diff via the ADD, so its not like driving with manual hubs engaged.
