Tire choices to be mounted on new TRD rims:

BFG All Terrain T/A KO
Goodyear DuraTrac
Nitto Terra Grappler
Cooper Discoverer STT

Order of importance: Wet/Dry Performance, Stance, Reputation as proven by longevity

Size: 265/70/16 OR 265/75/16

I owned BFG's 15 yrs ago and loved them, been running Cooper Discoverer ATR Tires on this vehicle for 10k miles. LOVE them but want fresh rubber on the new rims with black sidewalls instead of raised white letters. Anyone want to make an offer on these youre welcome to.

Tire choices to be mounted on new TRD rims:

BFG All Terrain T/A KO - Poor wet pavement performance, great longevity
Goodyear DuraTrac - Somewhat unproven yet but Goodyear name is good, great looking tire
Nitto Terra Grappler - Good on/offroad performance, excellent looking tire, 40k mile warranty
Cooper Discoverer STT - One of my favorite tires but a bit more aggressive than your other choices so wet pavement traction and tire life will be compromised.

Order of importance: Wet/Dry Performance, Stance, Reputation as proven by longevity

Above in bold is my summary on each tire based on my research when I was looking for tires. Hope it helps.

I would get the STT's if it wasn't for two reasons: 1. They don't have the size I need (265/70/17) and 2. the price.

Out of the other three I would rank them: 1. Duratrac 2. Terragrappler 3. BFG KO

nope no lift. and the more im thinking about it, with our dogs a lift may not be the best decision. if i can get that bigger tire look by just going to a 265/75/16 then that is prob where exterior mods will stop...cat back being installed today...cant wait

want to checkout something different? look at the- kumho road venture MT kl71 ,- the nitto trail grappler, or mickey thompson MT, the procomp extreme MTs look cool too. just throwing out a couple ideas,

I'm enjoying my new Good Year Duratracs. Don't know how they perform in the rain but being from Phoenix, don't really care either. Off road they perform well and are reasonably quite on the road.

duratracs look sweet. after seeing those wheels today in person, and knowing my tires only have 10k on them, i decided it would be wise to put the money elsewhere on the truck...headers, new carpet, oh im sure i can find something to do with it

If wet perfromance is important than the BFGs are on the bottom of that list and I can only speak for them and the Nittos and the TGs are much better in the wet and dry regarding on road performance and make a better daily driver tire but off road the BFGs have a slight durablilty edge but the Nittos have treated me quite well on and off road for the last 4 years and probably will be getting my 2nd set shortly but the Duratracs look good also.
