Never thought I would be pleased with $4.05 for unleaded but that's the going rate in Sactown. Down from $4.49 a couple weeks ago.

$3.95 in the Worcester area of Massachusetts. Plus the grocery store we go to has a promotion going that for every $50 you spend you get ten cents off a gallon at Shell. So this week I paid $3.65 :D

I filled up at 3.82 a bit north of qballjr13 here in the People's Republik of Taxachusetts.

Dumbass legislatures in Boston want to raise gas taxes more too. Freaking buffoons..........But I digress.

Yeah I felt immediate joy at the sight of $3.81 here and then quickly smacked myself for thinking that was any kind of significant improvement. I think people will need more of this :headslap:

It's just as bad here, my friend (tax wise), but I found gas for $3.79 this morning on my way to work. Seems cheap, and that's sad.
Another gas tax is on the way here, supposedly to pay for bridge work, at least that's the excuse. MN knee jerk politicians have tons of bridges closed right now causing jams everywhere that people idle at and waste gas. And raising gas tax is the solution? Screw it, I'm riding my Trek!

$3.69 today at both Sheetz and Wawa. Not exactly a "bargain" in my eyes, but definitely the cheapest around!

You're not the only ones who are facing higher taxes; as we have plenty of sorry-arse Virginians who think we are 'undertaxed' and want to hike our taxes on just about everything. We don't have a revenue shortage at all -- just a spending problem.
:bash:

I suggest we steal some of Minnesota's slogan for our license plates: "Virginia - Land of 10,000 Taxes"

Regular is down to $3.77 in New Jersey. I use plus, and that dropped to $3.93 which is a bargain in todays world!

Thats the wrong ****in attitude. When your pleased with $4, it'll never go down. I'd be happy, and would legitimately pay 3.25-3.50.

But where are you finding 4.05? I just filled up for 4.21 last night, same shell was 4.13(14?) this afternoon. I haven't really seen the nightly news do their average nightly "OMG!!!! Gas Prices!!! No End in SIGHT!!!!" Stories. ANybody think this trend will continue? Are we getting clse to the popping of this bubble?

gasbuddy.com has a couple stations in west sac where the price is $4.05. have not checked today yet. and I agree this may be a prelude to a whopping increase. that is the way these companies roll. meet the f$ckers.

Yes Senator, I also believe that nicotine is not addictive.

Glad to hear gas prices dropping, but $4 is still high compared to last year and two years ago. It should be cheaper since crude is around the $125 range. But like they say, gas prices shoot up like a rocket and fall like a feather. I'll be happy with it in the low $3 range as simple said. I don't think we'll see it less than $3 in CA.

I paid $4.19 yesterday morning and on the way home in the afternoon at the same station it was $4.15.... at least it is going in the right direction..

Lower prices?

Just filled up on Monday for $4.07/gal. Better than the $4.19 it was a week ago though.

I went back and looked at my gas records from when I first bought my Runner (May '06) and gas was $2.72/gal and it even dipped down to as low as $1.96/gal in Feb. '07. Man, those were the days.

Been all uphill since then...

I couldn't believe it yesterday. I got gas for $3.52/gal at Shell (same price at the nearby Sunoco). This was across town from where I live. By my house, it is 20 cents more.
