Well like that says I am from Colorado Springs buying a used 06 4Runner, nothing fancy just getting on the forums for some useful knowledge. I have a 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 as well running a GT3076 EWG on 1/3 mix e85. Use to have a 2006 XRunner that had the TRD supercharger 100% E85 but the RWD wasn't cutting it for me in Colorado so I traded it in, partially parted out. The V8 is still new to me as I had the V6 in the XR. Also should have the 4runner by next week but don't get back until Apr from over here. Hope to learn some new stuff. When I get it ill be sure to post up some pics and stuff. I know being a noob on a new forum gotta search, the 4runner is about to hit 100k so gotta do all that fun stuff.

Well I got her last week finally and only paid 8,800. Has slight hail damage but gotta love Colorado for that. Its a 2006 Limited 4wd V8. Any one in Colorado know of a good place to get the timing belt and w/p done? I called Toyota in Motor City and they said it was gonna be 850 plus tax.

hey thanks I emailed them here they quoted 760 for timing belt and w/p plus 10% coupon and military discount so should be right above 600 something. I really dont wanna do the timing belt.
So there any meets or do 4runner owners do anything like that? I am into the whole car scene yea the douches that hang out at best buy.

Sounds like they gave you a good deal.
I only really know one member in our area and he's the one that told me about this site. Check out T4R'S of Colorado, all Colorado members. I know some members get together and go for runs, Im still stock and too chicken.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you find your runner at?

Toy Tech does great work! I took my 99 there when I needed work done, they have always taken care of me. Will continue doing business with them. They are located on Iowa between Boulder and Platte.......if you go there tell em Joe recomended.

it was a little dealership on platte, has hail damage and the 4lo actuator is stuck so got them down on price more, hopefully its just stuck been reading on here few things to try like tapping it and loosing and little and stuff like that, just gotta wait till I get home to play with it.

ah word, Schriever has two huge parking areas but I use to work for them in OSS and then decided to go back to the office I was in. But yea for sure ill be back my 4runner looks like a golf ball right now hopefully PDR will take care of most of it.
it happens at least once a year there is hail season pretty much, i remember 2 years ago it damaged 90% of all the dorm's residence cars on Peterson broke windows and damaged govs, the year before that the hail storm hit up north of springs on a weekend. So its just kinda a hit or miss but it does hail.
