Front Amber Light in Headlight

I want to change the front Amber Lightbulbs in my 2004 Sport, but the damn bulb sockets do not want to come out of the headlight assembly. Is there a special way to remove the bulbs? Tried clockwise and counter-clockwise...

Any suggestions?

Please be more specific of which light bulb?

The amber light that is on in the headlight assembly when you turn your headlights on. Right next to the amber reflector. It's above the headlight.

those are hard as hell due to the lack of leverage....i've changed mine to hyper whites, you gotta grab it and give that sucker a really good turn counter clockwise.

The positioning of the those bulbs sucks and I'm afraid that I am going to crack my whole headlight assembly. The driver side is even harder as the battery is in the way. We'll see... If it breaks it's time for some new JDM blackened headlights.

It was tough but I got mine out. Check the manual for the proper turn direction and use a rubber can top opener to firmly grip it.

Did you get the Driver side out also with the battery still there?

Yes I did. The rubber jar opener and a few scraped knuckles is all it took.
