I'm sure we have all changed our front brake pads at some point. I'm changing the front brake pads on my 1996 SR5. There is a flat clip that fits around the pad retaining pins. Does the curved part go down or up? I've seen videos with it both ways, but only 1 position is correct. The curved part on mine faces down. It fits both ways, and it can be easily changed.
