Im sure this has been asked before but I couldnt find anything on brand recomendations. So what brands of calipers and pads do you guys reccomend? Im on a budget and need some at reasonable prices. Thanks in advance!

hey man i am in southeastern ky and just finished the Tundra brake upgrade on my truck i bought all new parts from advance auto and it was way expensive you can go to rockauto.com and get the same parts for real good prices!

The Napa ones are good and have a lifetime warranty, so if anything goes wrong with them you can take them back.

I did my tundra brake upgrade with calipers from advanced auto. With coupon codes, it came to about $40 each for the calipers. I think I came in under $250 for the whole thing with all new parts. I got rotors from amazon, and pads from Napa.

got mine from action auto and they were the same exact price as rockauto.com and i didn't have to pay shipping, but i also stopped by a oriely's and they were $60 more than anywhere else, in my mind i'd rather spend $10 on gas driving around and have them that day than spend $30 on shipping and have to wait for them to show.

that said, i'm like $450~500 into mine, $120 for calipers, $214 for rotors and $78 for pads

and got some $50 all ceramic pads without beveled edges .... that's my set up, wheelers offroad has a set of drilled/slotted rotors for around $120, but i have used brembo on every truck or car i've ever had, and i'm a bit of a brand loyalist if they've never given me any problems and brembo has always been flawless for me personally.

I went OEM on everything.. it too was very expensive.. but i am thrilled with the results.

OK guys thanks for input! I was thinking of going with Auto zone parts or oreilys not real big fan of oreilys stuff but there close. May try Napa but dont know if we have one around here. Was thinkin of trying the ceramic pads. I want somethin thats stops good and dosent sqeal and dosent put off alot of brake dust. . Seems like all brakes sqeal anymore.
