Front brake change

I need to change my EBC 7000 series Green Stuff pads out soon, however Toyota rotors are still very good and no pulsing or vibration when braking. I have an old EBC 7000 series Green Stuff pad set that are about 25% worn I took off when putting new Toyota rotors on (I wanted new rotors and pads at the same time, but kept the used pads).

So my question is can I just have my rotors lightly shaved and use the EBC pads I had left over from the other brake job? These pads are about $100/set so if I can save myself a little I'd like to use the pads since they're only 25% used on the existing Toyota rotors. Is that safe to do, pros/cons and or recommendations?

Thank you.

i typically try to do new pads with new rotors, but in your case here, old/used pads on turned down rotors is probably no problem at all.

you could always swap the pads out later if a problem develops (pulsing, what have you)
