I had not seen the rotors or the pads but they are still on the car so I will. Thanks for that suggestion. As to the fix Toyota now has miraculously upgraded it's brake job to better quality pads about $250.00 dealer price installed. I know that the previous parts were shoddy knew it when the put them on and took it back after 2k miles for a full inspection. Thinking back I should have had them changed at that time aka lesson learned. Anyway, the shuddering coming down the hill is beginning to annoy me so will probably talk with a few more brake shops and then get them done. I don't fix cars.....I fix people lol.
