Front break Help!!

Im new to the T4R. I have an 02 Limited, I've had it about 2 months now and its got 167,500 on it. when I purchased it it was in desperate need of rotors. I replaced the rotors with just a stock replacement one the day after I brought it home. As of late the every time reverse and the first time I push on the breaks there is a clunk coming from the front brakes?? I have no idea what it is. Maybe the pads moving..? I checked the calipers to see if anything was loose and I can't find anything that look out of place or wrong. I even checked to see if the little capture pin that goes into the break pad pins had popped out and they were both there. Any help would he awesome! or a direction that I could work towards? thanks in advance!

Its probably the pads moving forward and backwards in the calipers. The holes in the brake pads (where the mounting pins go) are oblong and larger than the pins themselves.

Do you have aftermarket brake pads? May be those are bit too small.

Not to sure I really didn't check that when I put the rotors on. The pad a plenty of life left in them. I guess I'll have to take them apart and check it out!

Thanks for the info! I'll worry less. Do know if there is a correction for this?

I had this problem too, it was my caliper was loose. The two bolts holding on one of my calipers were less than hand right and I could move the caliper back and forth.
