Front Bumper Decision

After a few months of research, I am torn between a Schrockworks front bumper. And the Perkins Performance front bumper.

I dont think ive seen many perkins performance items around, as they also make rear bumpers, sliders, and roof racks.

I see a lot of schrockworks stuff around.

I love the look of both of them.

The Schrockworks is a little pricier, but i can deal with it if its the better product.

Does anyone have any feedback or suggestions that could sway me either way? Id love to hear some good arguments for either, and im also open to new suggestions regarding the front bumper market.
Anything and everything is appreciated :D

thanks - Ethan

I went with Perkins because of it being local. And I LOVE it!! I get a ton of compliments on it and it is super beafy. There is ONE thing that I would have improved and thats the approach angle. The SW has a higher cut off so you do get some good clearance but I am still very happy with this approach angle.

Timing was also a thing. Even though SW says they are improving I have yet to hear it from experience.

Heres a picture!

I'm very happy with my Schrockworks. The design, quality and build is exceptional. I have no regrets with going SW and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality front bumper. It's rock solid and there have been several stories of how well they performed during major collisions. The only complaint I've heard regarding SW bumpers is the wait time. I was lucky enough to receive mine 6 weeks after ordering it but I've heard complaints of orders taking several months. The problem seem to have stemmed from waiting for items that were outsourced for laser cutting. Apparently that is now done in-house and Jim has promised shorter lead times.

Don't forget about DeMello Off-Road. Heard good things about their bumper too. Here's a side by side shot of a Schrockworks and DeMello front bumper.

You both have amazing rides! thanks for the feedback.
I have read on this site about the long wait times for SW, but if that is what i end up going with, im sure i could tough it out.

Im still absolutely torn, Dawg4runner, your rig is actually one of the first i looked at when i joined this site. i absolutely love your setup.
:D

DeMello Offroad, Hrm. ill give them a look see. :D

I love the perkins rear bumper, however I think the front is a little plain. My vote is DO, Shrockworks for front and Perkins or CBI for rear

FYI MY SIG
Rocktek Front and rear on Silver
Shrockworks Front on black

A buddy of mine is working up a design for a rear bumper, he has made a few prototypes that he has sold, however each one is different. So, he and i are going to work something up
:D
