Front Bumper Dent Repair Options?

One of my kids pulled my 2007 SE too far into the garage yesterday and bumped into a set of metal shelves. It left two smallish parallel creases in the front bumper - right at the "corner" about 1/4 of the way along the bumper in front. The creases are roughly 3/4 inch long, 1/4 in wide, and mayb 1/8" deep.

I can open the hood and run my fingers along the inside of the bumper and feel the bumps the creases created.

I'm not sure what material the bumper is - but doubt its metal. More like plastic of some sort.

Anyone know what repair options are? I sure do not want to replace it, but would prefer not to look at it all the time. If I can get it fixed for $100 or so, I'd like to get it taken care of.

yo Bill, I have a '07 SE in Titanium Silver. I am sure someone will give you some info on this soon. Anything You want me to check on mine, will do. ran

the bumper is plastic. you will need a body shop to do the repair by filling the dent, repainting, and it will be a lot more than $100. you may be better off spending the $ on a bumper guard from one of the aftermarket suppliers. (manik, westin t&H..)

I saw an ad the other day where Dent Doctor claimed they could do minor bumper repairs. To be fair, I've never used them for this type of repair, but they have done some hail dent removal for me in the past and done a very good job. YMMV.

If you have one nearby, it doesn't take much to stop in an ask -- if they say they can do it, ask for some before and after pictures of work that shop has done. I wouldn't trust the stock PR pictures used in an ad.
