Hello
I found a service manual diagram of front bumper (from techno in 3rd gen forum) to be very helpful and wondered if anyone might have a similar front bumper & front fender(L) diagram for a 2008 4Runner/SR5. Was suggested I try 4th gen forum-(oops) Tagged a parking pole backing out and broke the bumper bracket and splash guard, and bent the bumper backwards leaving a kink or two. Have OEM parts to replace, yet it is not all there for me to see the original configuration, plus the little black pop-rivets are different for the bumper and for the inner fender well/splash guard. The splash guard rivets(black plastic) are giving me grief on removal (break-em & buy new ones ?) They don't seem to even want break.?.
I have also heard that heat from a blow dryer can help smooth kinks out of the plastic bumper? Any thoughts or advice on that. The 1 kink is small, 1/2 inch wide, top to bottom of 3 inches, in only one location.
Thanks for any help,
