Maybe but the effort might not be worth it. Bumper cover isn't really that bad.

I hear ya. Once you get past that initial fear of breaking a clip etc and figure out that you can just manhandle it, it's pretty easy.
Finally had some nice weather and time to repaint. The front bumper removal and replacement was ez. The hardest part was removing the black trim piece on top & just under the front lip of the hood (covers the top bumper cover fasteners). Also went over the entire rig with 3M polishing compound, Meguires NXT Wax and an orbital buffer with a sheepskin bonnet. Really pulled out the shine I knew was under that neglected, hazy surface. I am pretty happy with the results. Used Amsoil Miracle Wash and a Mothers Power Cone to remove years of yellowed gunk on the wheels. They look much better as well.

I'm going to be taking my bumper off soon to do an install for my led lightbar when it comes in but I'm a little hesitant. Is it literally just the (I counted 11) bolts and a firm pull? Is the pull a straight out pull or does it include an upward twist of the bumper or anything to clear the lights etc? Thanks in advance
You have to pull out a little at the top of the bumper next to each fender well and then the entire cover slides out forward. Make sure you release the wiring harnesses from the signals and driving lights. I put some thick cardboard down in case I dropped the bumper so it wouldn't get scratched but I didn't drop it. Still came in handy for something to sit it on besides concrete. Once you pull all the bolts and wiring it will sit there on the steel supports until you are ready to pull it off.
Big hint: To remove the black trim piece that covers the clips at the top side of the cover (just under the lip of the hood) I squeezed the metal clips from the underside and pushed up, one by one. Seems like I was risking damage trying to pry it off from the top. That trim piece is heavy duty. Underneath are plastic clips attaching the cover to the supports. You may need to pick up a few replacement plastic clips. I picked them up at the dealer when picking up touch up paint.

does anyone have a good diagram or photos of where all of the bolts/ clips go when putting back on the front bumper cover? i took mine off a few weeks ago so i could replace with a new one and i do not remember where everything goes, the diagram I have does not address certain bolts/ clips.
I have some pics I took as I was taking my bumper cover off and also a Word file that explains how to do it. I can send you those in a zip file but honestly they didn't help me much. Once I set the bumper cover back in place it was pretty obvious where everything went. But I had not removed any clips or anything else that the cover attached to so you may have a slightly different situation. Is there anyone local to you with an intact assembly you can reference? That may be your best resource. Where I live there are 4Runners like these running around everywhere. PM me with your e-mail address and I will send you a zip file with my pictures and Word file if you need them, though I doubt they would help much.
