Front bumper valence question?

will the 99-02 valance fit properly on the 96-98 model. I notice the newer model bumper sticks out. How is the newer model bumper supported compare to the later models cause i see the newer model has a plastic piece on top of the bumper too.
The reason I ask is because i dont need the bull bar. I dont offroad that extreme enough to get one(though it looks really nice), but I want something done to the front bumper to make it look more rugged and beefier. Or find a hilux surf valence.

trail, i am waiting on my shrockworks bumper which should be here in the end of september. if you can wait that long i'd be happy to sell you my existing 2000 bumper and all of its parts. im in the st louis area, so you can figure shipping.

Hey Trail,

I'm in the middle of redoing my stock chrome bumpers on my 98. I got the rear one done. I have the front one half way done. I got a thread started on this and if i get some time tonight after work I will get some pics up.

I'm in your same predicament. Not alot of hardcore wheeling but want a beefier look.

Just got them mounted tonight. None of the cameras or lights are hooked up yet. I'll get them wired up this weekend.

I used spray can truck bed liner and then topcoated it with graphite metallic textured spray paint. I got my friend making me tow shackles and 2" receiver for the front frame.

I can't get any pics to upload? Anything i need to do on my end? Thanks
