Front Bumpers for 5th Gens

Yea the winch would be nice but I’m not sure how often I’d use mine at least for now. You look like you’re more in need of one in your area, I’m outside of D.C and have a 1 year old so it’s hard to really get off road right now but it is something I’d like to get a little down the road.
As far as the suspension everyone I hear talks about the Bilstein 5100, I’ll have to do more research when I’m ready and see if thats what I need as I don’t really want a lift just want enough to support the new bumper and a future winch. I’ll check out some more forums.

This is the Victory 4x4 Blitz Front Winch Bumper. Victory 4x4 is the sister company of JcrOffroad who has been making great Jeep armor for a long time. Had to break it through the ice on my first winter trip up north.

Has anyone had problems with winch access in the low profile bumpers (C4Fab, SSO, etc) ? I'm expecting to use my winch a fair amount. Do the side access holes allow you to actually get your hand in there? I just don't like the look of the full bumpers.

No issues on my 10-13 C4 low pro. Used it all weekend a month or so ago and had no problem reaching in there.

That said, as is with all of their products, it's a great "looking" bumper.

I opted with SSO slimline with no side access holes to protect the winch from the elements (and mud, sludge, and crud and hands that are not mine).

Easy access to it with the hood open (which I control).

And . . it's far safer to be looking down from the top of the engine bay at the winch than looking through tiny front holes with your head next to a weighted winch line.

Shrockworks in Houston is a close design to the EP1, it looks much cleaner than the ARB bumper IMO. SW in the 3rd gen and 1st gen Tacoma is the perfect fit, very nice design for it's time back in the late 90s/early 2000s, very grassroots for it's time and still a classic look. Can't stand the brushed middle plate but it can be PC black upon request

Yeah I didn’t care much for the middle brush plate on my Shrockworks front bumper either. I covered mine with a mesh grill. Here is what it looks like now.
