front calipers apply themselves and stick prob solved

i have read many threads here and other places about front calipers engaging by themselves and sticking and haven't seen any answers, i too havre had this problem with a 95 i recently purchased. I am certain that the guy i bought it from had the same problem as i checked at auto zone under his # and the front pass. side caliper had been replaced months before i bought the 4runner.i have bypassed the rear antilock brakes actuater and the other thing on the rear end,i'm not sure what the name of it is, but i did pretty much everything else that everyone tried. by process of elimination, i figured it to be master cylinder ,like some others had, but when i changed that no dice. i cleaned the slides and found the anti rattle clip to be set up oddly since it was pushing the pads downward. when the problem would occur the front end would shake prettybad and the clip position kinda made sense since the drag would move the pad upward obviously. so idk if this helps everyone having this problem but what has so far worked for me was to polish up the slides and most importantly to turn the clip around and make sure that the pressure it applies to the shoe is upward and not down. i hope this helps as i have found no solution online and this seems to have fixed the problem plaguing so many!!! bty i am a new member as of today and this site has been helpful so far and someone on a applicable post said there is never any solutions posted, so here is one!!

the "device" that you bypassed in the back that sits on the frame is called a LSPV. It acts as a proportioning valve but works off your suspension. I have read that some times it is the brakes hoses, grimy fluid, bad master cylinder, bad calipers. what ever it is, it's not prevalent to 1st gens even with the 3.0.
