Well I just got some money for Christmas and i am going to get a ome lift. I have a grill guard and I was wondering because of the extra weight on the front end if I should get the 886 instead of the 885? Someone help me please!! And it is my daily driver so i don't want a terrible ride but i can deal with it being stiff.

Is this for a 4runner or a tacoma? I could be completely wrong on this but I assumed the OME 885/886 were for tacomas and that the OME 881/882 were for 4runners. The reason I think this is b/c on yotatech everytime someone talks about OME on 4runners they talk about the 881/882 and OME 885/886 are talked about by the tacoma guys on the website. They could be fine but I would check this out to make sure before you purchase. And if this is for a tacoma then I'm not sure. You could email toyteclifts.com and ask them about it.

Yeah i think your right because i thought they were 881/882 also but i looked at rocky-road.com 9where im buying from) and it said that. But anyway should i get the heavier duty front spring or not?

I've got a TJM-15 on my 4runner and sold my OME 881s to get OME 882 springs. It was suggested that I get the OME 882s with the heavier front bumper (gonna add a winch in a month or two). If I didn't already have everything (OME coils/struts/shocks) I would look on yotatech.com into the Tundra TRD springs (more $$$ though). I would go to toyteclifts.com and look up their email address and email them about it. They seem to know there stuff about the OME's and what you should run.
