That was quick! Great. The shackles will come in Tuesday and I'll get some pictures up with them on my truck also.

So i attempted to take off the original tow hook bolts tonight with a socket and those things are on there super tight! Gonna have to use an impact gun sometime this week to get the originals off unfortunately... I'm dying to get them on and take some pics but I'll keep you guys posted!

I have an impact which is what I used to install it, but I had to use a long pry bar to remove them. Those suckers were on there tight!

They were waiting for me when I got home now to paint and install. My 3/4" drive breaker bar 3' long should be able to whip them bolts.:naughty:

I'll post pics as soon as they are on.

You're very welcome. The bare metal ones have a very light coat of WD40 on them to keep them from rusting after I bead blasted them. Some brake cleaner will get it off and make them ready for painting.

I have the factory skid on in the pics above and yes the have plenty of clearance I just need to get another set of 3/4" shackles now

Yes, the ones I put on mine for the pictures have the skid plate on.

Doesn't the faux skidplate mount in the same spot? I was considering one but I don't want to elimate the option of the mounts.

Yeah. I think they do use the same spot. That's what I'm trying to confirm.
