Front diff noise

I have an intermittent noise coming from what seems like my front differential. I have searched and found a lot of threads, but none seem to match my description of the sound im hearing. It is an intermittent grinding/humming noise that starts at about 10mph and continues through all speeds. It makes the sound more often when I am at higher speeds i.e at 10mph it makes the sound once per second and at 45mph it makes it 2-3 times per secoond. Whether I turn left or right it does not affect the noise, and 4 wheel drive does not affect the noise either. Any suggestions?

How does the vehicle act in 4wd on dry roads. Does it pull hard to one side?
Do you have the know how to pull the CV axles?
If so, there are bearings that support the CV axle and I have seen them seize. You can reach in with your fingers and they should spin easily.

Well I currently have the front diff dissasembled and everything inside seems fine. The bearings seem fine, but I don't know what they are like when they are new. Also while on road it does pull slightly to the passenger side.
